  1. Still summer here as well but we desperately need rain. Lots of it.

    Great quote from the coach.

Great quote from Gorgeous Josh, f_ck the leaf.

Nice retro Raquel pic, still #1 for me.

Hockey news will start picking up soon starting with the trade of Carey's contract. That will be the first domino to fall.

The thing that defines Raquel even though she might have some plastic tits, is she was naturally beautiful. You can take a Kardashion dog and make it bark, but for people of a certian age we know what beauty looks like. From this day forward is all what some pervert program thinks will make you hard.

Massive loss of a huge talent.

Important for our indigenous community and all Canadians.

    Rest in peace Graham Greene.

    2. My mistake, Tom Jackson was in North of 60.
Dances With Wolves was one of many roles for Graham Greene.

    3. RIP. Loved him in everything he did. Was excellent in Longmire in an antagonist role. A VERY good show that a lot of people don't know about. I highly recommend it.

  6. Rather than hearing about Carey's contract being traded, I'm still holding out hope that he just say pfff, I don't need another $2M and retires, wiping his contract off the books.

Cancer took Terry and Gordie from us. Not to mention so many friends and family. It is up to us to make the difference. 👊🏼 🇨🇦

    Go Eagles.

  11. So can someone who understands how this works explain to me why TFS can't just retire now that he's been paid? No one wants to trade him and I get that some teams need to reach a certain level...if he retires officially does it solve the Habs cap issues?

    1. Not really, that contract which will only cost someone $800k in real money is a pretty big bargaining chip. Any team that decides they want to tank for McKenna will want that $10.5 mil hit to stay above the floor when they unload their high priced vets. But, does it need to happen before the season starts is the question. I think someone will bite before then.

Canadiens acquire defenseman Gannon Laroque from the San Jose Sharks
The Sharks receive goaltender Carey Price and a fifth-round pick in 2026

    1. Well I'm glad that's over with. Sucks that the system is in place that it has to be this way, but now Kent has more flexibility in searching for that elusive #2 C.

  13. Watching season 2 of Inside the Rebuild. Almost forgot exactly how terrible they were before Christmas.

  14. Agreed, glad that nonsense is over. Now the tranna mediots can focus on McD signing with the wretched leaf after this season.

    1. Jeez, we lost two of the last great CH goalies in one day. Rest in peace, Ken Dryden, my first living hero as a kid, and a hero he remained as an adult. Classy beyond words.

"Ken Dryden was an exceptional athlete, but he was also an exceptional man. Behind the mask he was larger than life. We mourn today not only the loss of the cornerstone of one of hockey’s greatest dynasties, but also a family man, a thoughtful citizen, and a gentleman who deeply impacted our lives and communities across generations. He was one of the true legends that helped shape this Club into what it is today”, said Geoff Molson, owner and president of the Montreal Canadiens.

“Ken embodied the best of everything the Montreal Canadiens are about, and his legacy within our society transcends our sport. On behalf of the Molson family and our entire organization, I would like to extend my most heartfelt condolences to his family, his friends, and all who had the privilege to cross his path and know him on a personal level.”

He was the reason I became a Habs fan, for life, in the spring of 1971.

  20. I am devastated, he was a hero for me as well and my favourite Habs goalie of all time. As moe said, that 1971 run was legendary. RIP.
